IMPACT OF THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES ON TRAFFIC SAFETY: MULTIPHASE MODELING

Traffic safety is one of the key issues nowadays, given fact that a large number people lose their lives in traffic accidents every day. There are various influential factors occurrence accidents, vehicles being them. This paper assesses Montenegro period 1998-2020 by applying multiphase modeling with purpose to obtain comparative results which enable implementation adequate strategies. A total six scenarios were formed two inputs and outputs DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model, registered per year an input all scenarios. In addition, as inputs, included AADT (Annual Average Daily Traffic), passengers road transport, passenger-km goods transported road, tone-km local transport. The casualties, material damage, fatal cases injured persons, depending on scenario, observed outputs. After IMF SWARA (Improved Fuzzy Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio was applied determine weights outputs, while final state years determined using MARCOS (Measurement alternatives ranking according COmpromise solution) method.
